We adhere to the policies of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Our goal is to meet the needs of the child within the guidelines of our classroom environment while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all children and staff. Reasonable accommodations will be made to give a child with special needs the best chance of success in an integrated environment appropriate to their needs. We have partnered with our community to help achieve this goal. Individual assessments may be conducted to determine if we can meet a child’s needs in our classroom setting.

In conjunction with parents, beginning in the young 2’s class, potty training is initiated based on a child’s emerging interest and developmental level.
Magnolia Academy Children’s Center will rarely close due to weather conditions. If the weather conditions become treacherous, we would not want our staff, parents, and children to be in any danger and therefore may call for a “delayed opening” or an “early closing” schedule. If there is a question of whether we will be closed for any reason, please tune your television to WWBT Channel 12 or WRJC Channel 8 and watch your email for center updates.
When applying to attend MACC, parents complete paperwork indicating any dietary restrictions for their child. While we do honor these restrictions, parents also have the option to provide all the food their child consumes. It’s important to note that peanut products are not permitted in any classroom. MAT certified staff are on premises at all times in the event of allergic reactions.
Parents have the option to provide food if medically necessary or if individual circumstances require it, as mutually agreed upon by the office staff.
Unfortunately, we do not provide part-time options due to space constraints.
Certainly, feel free to reach out to the center by calling 804-203-5191.
